The Salty Hippo is the ideal home for your beach vacation. This well appointed 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home is located in a quiet part of town with very little thru traffic and views of the ship channel. It is also nearby the Port Aransas community heated swimming pool which the owners kindly provide day passes to for you and your guests. The Port A Community pool is heated to 80 degrees during the winter months. If you love bird watching, there is a nature preserve a short distance away.

The open floor plan allows for everyone to be able to gather together in one area while not feeling cramped. The living room has a nice sectional sofa for plenty of cushy comfort. There is a dining table with seating for 6 with an additional 4 seats along the breakfast bar island. The kitchen is fully stocked with "everything" you will need, and is bright and spacious with granite counter tops and shaker style white cabinets. Enjoy cooking a meal together with family and friends as there is plenty of space for more than one chef! For your little ones, the owners have provided a Pack-n-Play and a high chair.

Down the hall you will find a master bedroom with a king size bed, smart flat screen tv, and full bath with double vanity. The first guest room has two twin over full bunk beds with a mounted smart flat screen tv. The second guest room boasts a queen size bed as well as a smart flat screen tv. The guest rooms share a common bathroom with walk in shower.

You will find outside space galore here with tons of deck space. Upstairs out back you will find a deck that runs the width of the house and has comfortable outdoor furniture and a flat screen tv. Conveniently there is also a 1/2 bath and charcoal grill located out here. There is an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) downstairs as well as a utility room with full washer dryer set. The front of the home also has a covered porch with patio furniture.

If you have pets, this property is pet friendly (limit of 2 pets, please let the management company know) and offers a fenced in area for your furry friends. The owners have provided food and water bowls for your pets so that you don't have to worry about packing them.

COVERED BAY BOAT PARKING! There is room for the boat and 4 more vehicles. Please check with the management company regarding the size of your boat beforehand to ensure you will not have any issues parking it.

Winter Texans - this property is available from November through February.
